Kingfisher Foodbank has changed its charity governance structure. Our foodbank became a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) to form a new entity called North Solihull Foodbank with Shard End Foodbank being a satellite foodbank. North Solihull Foodbank Registered charity number 1202316 | Registered in England and Wales.
Christian Values
St Barnabas Church, Kingshurst has relinquished the franchise of the Kingfisher Foodbank and the Trussell Trust. North Solihull Foodbank will continue their foodbank services and bases its values on Christian principles.
Why the change of name?
With the new change of governance, we thought it would be a good time to change the name of our foodbank to reflect the area we work in and around, that being North Solihull. We will continue running as normal with no change or interruption to our foodbanks at Auckland Hall, Smiths Wood or Welcome Change Community Centre, Shard End.
